Does she listen to you

become engrossed in even the boring details

something I could never

quite pull off.

Maybe she massages your back

even when she’s tired

rather than turn

to have hers done.

Does she accept your compulsion

to domineer

is she good at letting things go

is she not one for showdowns.

She probably pampers you

protects your ego

expecting very little

and giving much more.

Does she hold you tighter

is she less hysterical

does she love you

even half as much as I did.
